At the request of local leading dance teachers, Maragatham has been asked many times to create dance compositions (in Sanskrit and using Carnatic music) for the dancers to choreograph and present on stage. This has led to productions that have been staged on many well-known venues, including the Smithsonian and the Kennedy Center in Washington DC.
Maragatham is available for creating dance compositions and assisting dance teachers preparing them for stage innovations. Her uniqueness combines not only her Sanskrit knowledge and musical talents, but also knowledge of Natya Sastra in which she did her MPhil thesis. |
